Knowledge Is Power
I now understanding why they say knowledge is power. If you have information that other people aren’t aware of and want, when you share it with them:
1. They increase their trust in you
2. They increase their value of you because you gave them something of use value
3. They increase rapport and comfortability
These feelings produce a hunger for them to want more from you. They desire being in your presence, listening to your every word because you provided them with hope for a better tomorrow.
With loyalty, respect, and trust as by products of your knowledge, you now have the ability to influence the decisions of those that follow you. Hence, power to control a decision that can impact few or many.
So when they say knowledge has power realize that you actually have more control over the situation than you think. Use it wisely.
