The 7-11 Rule

7-11

This Memorial Day I had the opportunity to speak with some young men about life. I feel that everyday there is something new to learn and on this particular day, I learned something that was very interesting called “The 7-11 Rule.”

The rule is that within the first 7 seconds of seeing someone new, you find 11 reasons why you will or will not vibe with this person. I’ve heard this same principle explained in a different way, but “The 7-11 Rule” is more concise.

So the next time you see someone new, see if you can realize within the first 7 seconds of seeing them if you start brain chatter about whether you think this person is someone you will or will not vibe with.

Enjoy!
